Bridging students teaming up!

BRIDGING UPDATE from Liz Underwood, Coordinator:

The weeks are flying by, the leaves are changing, and the students seem to be finding their rhythm with Bridging. This is always a fun time of year, and I can already see the students blossoming.

On Monday, we put together a group collage with help from Way2Work's own Ashley DuBois, then danced the morning away with Rose Bedard. The theme of our collage this week was to bring together pieces of ourselves to make something bigger and brighter.

Today, we split off once again into our pods to assist the lovely folks at Feeding Champlain Valley, take a tour with Scott at Marshall's, and learn about first aid with Nurse Laurie.

We will be making the most of our two Bridging days next week. On Monday, the students will be out and about, with the Music Men doing mock interview prep, the Joyful Friends will be touring Generator Makerspace, and the Sunshines will be heading to Avenue 7. On Monday, we will be sticking together for some fun activities, as well as theater with Edward Burke.
