CCS project at APHA conference

UVM College of Medicine students Aathmika Krishnan (left) and Olivia Domingue presented our research project at the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Boston earlier this month.
They were part of a team of eight medical students who worked with CCS on the Public Health Project study "Understanding communication experiences of patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in healthcare settings" during the spring semester in 2022.
“We had a lot of traffic come by our poster and people were very interested in our preliminary results and were curious about a future implementation,” Aathmika said.
Impressive work - THANKS to our team!
