CCS Food Drive a success

Last year we added a food drive for Feeding Chittenden to our agency holiday party and collected 315 pounds of food.

This year, we raised 50 percent more! We packed Employment & Education Director Michelle Paya's truck and, upon delivery at the food shelf, learned we'd donated 481 pounds of food and goods. Well done, CCS Community!

Here's how Michelle summed i up: "Well, what a great afternoon to spend with the magnificent CCS crew. With a full heart, I share with you that CCS donated 481 pounds of food and items to Feeding Chittenden. Today WE - as one large family, provided kindness, love and certainly joy to a community in need – that is something that I am so grateful for, and a success that has no bearing on numbers. THANK YOU!"
